2025 Spring Seasonal Poll Which style would you like to see BMB brew for the winter seasonal? At Birdsmouth Beer, we believe our customers are just as much a part of the BMB ecosystems as the microbes that ferment our beer. We want you, Birdsmouth Nation, to help craft the very beers you enjoy with friends and family. So, put your stamp on BMB and vote for whichever style you want to see brewed next. Majority vote wins! Hoppy Rye Pale: 4.5% ABV. Spicy rye malt paired with spicy hop varieties. Heavily Dry hopped pale lager. Rye can bring a big mouthfeel to smaller beers and that when heavy hopping can give the perception of a bigger more flavorful beer but remain low in ABV. 35-40% pale rye malts. Double OG: This "big" version of the Original Lager sports a 6-6.5% ABV. It uses the same ingredients as the OG but with amplified ABV, malt character and hops. It would turn OG (helles) inot something like a Helles Bock. Dortmunder: 5% ABV. This popular German style is a pale beer differentiated by its water chemistry. This low ABV beer has heavy water chemistry that creates the sensation of a full body beer. Wheat Lager: 3.5%. Very high percentage of wheat malt. The base recipe is of a German wheat beer but fermented with lager yeast. Creamy body and lightly dry hopped with subtle citrus hop varieties. Wheat like rye gives a perception of body to the beer even at a very low abv. A refreshing beer with enough body to compliment the cooler spring days. A beer made for volume consumption.
